★★★★★

"I'd been putting off LASIK for five years because of the UK price. Lumina Vision made it easy — the coordinator arranged everything, the surgeon spoke perfect English, and I could see clearly by the time my flight home landed."

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before booking.

Am I a suitable candidate for laser eye surgery?
Most adults aged 21+ with a stable prescription for at least 2 years are good candidates. We review your current prescription and medical history in the free virtual consultation. If LASIK isn't suitable, we'll recommend the most appropriate alternative (SMILE, PRK, or ICL).
Is it safe to have eye surgery abroad?
Our partner clinic is JCI-accredited, uses the same ZEISS femtosecond laser technology as top European clinics, and has treated over 1,200 international patients without a single serious complication. We also provide 12 months of remote aftercare and can coordinate with your local ophthalmologist at home if needed.
How long does the surgery take?
The laser treatment itself takes 10–20 minutes per eye. You'll be at the clinic for approximately 2–3 hours on surgery day (preparation, procedure, and initial observation). Most patients notice clear vision within a few hours.
When can I fly home after surgery?
We recommend a minimum 3-night stay. Your post-op check is on day 3, after which most patients are cleared to fly. We'll provide a letter from your surgeon confirming your fitness to travel.
What's included in the all-inclusive package?
Airport transfer (both ways), 3 nights in a 4-star partner hotel, full pre-op diagnostics, surgery for both eyes, post-operative eye drops for 4 weeks, and a 12-month remote follow-up by your surgeon. Flights are not included but we provide booking guidance for your travel dates.
What if I have a complication after returning home?
Complications from laser eye surgery are rare (less than 1% of cases). If anything does arise, our team is available via WhatsApp and email. We can also provide a referral letter to a local ophthalmologist. Our 12-month remote follow-up protocol is specifically designed to support international patients at a distance.
